I’ve been a fan of the infinity scarf trend for years now, and for every single one of those years, I think to myself, “You should probably knit one of those before they go out of style.” Each year I hope that the trend never dies because I love it and will probably continue to love it for a very long time. After waiting so long to finally knit one, I went a little overboard. They are such simple and rewarding knits that I couldn’t help myself. I’ve since justified my decision to knit a million of these babies –Hey! I live in Wisconsin, I need them. Winter is very harsh here.
My first choice was the GAP-tastic Cowl by Jen Geigley. I had this beautiful skein of purple Malabrigo that sitting in my stash for what seemed like forever. In my earlier knitting years, I would often choose yarn without a project in mind, and this was one of those instances. I had no idea what to do with it until a friend on instagram posted a picture of herself wearing said cowl. I fell in love with it instantly. It took me about a week to finish, but I am extremely happy with the results.
